Together, We Will Create Your Wedding Ceremony

That reflects your love, dreams, beliefs, values, and cultural traditions.   As a non-denominational minister, I will honor YOUR choices whether: spiritual, religious, traditional or secular.

You may write your own vows & ceremony or choose from the lovely selections I have available.

Some of my favorite  ceremonial touches include:
The Blessing of the Hands
This ceremony is unique to my ceremonies. I begin by having the groom place his hands palms up in brides hands so that she may see the gift they are to her. I then read beautiful words that reflect your gifts to each other often beginning with "These are the hands of your best friend . . ." Many couples use the Blessing of Hands in place of spoken vows to each other.
The Rose Ceremony
Rose ceremonies can be performed two ways. First, as a thank you to parents, a rose is given as a reminder of their loving example in the couples lives. Secondly, I present a red rose to the couple and remind them "this is a symbol of your love. Each anniversary place a single rose in your home as a reaffirmation of the unconditional love you have for each other right now"

Uniting Families with Children
I consider the uniting of couples with children as my forte.

I encourage couples with children to create a ceremony in which special vows are shared with step-children. A locket or special gift (exchange of flowers, leis, etc.) can be presented to memorialize this blending into a new family.

The Unity Candle
The two candles are traditionally lit by the mothers of the bride and groom at the beginning of the ceremony. Usually before or right after the vows, the couple will light from both candles one unity candle. I have several special readings. Here's one. "May the light of understanding, respect, and tolerance, shine eternally for both of you."
Butterfly Release
One of my favorite ceremonies. Butterflies are the symbol of new growth -- change -- to what we can become. Butterflies are about letting go, trusting the process, new life and transformation I can provide referrals of butterfly release farms upon request.
Dove Release
White dove releases are a unique and beautiful finishing touch to your wedding ceremony because the are a symbol of purity, holiness, fidelity and love. Nothing can describe the magical moment when a bride and groom release a pair of doves in the air while dozens of others are released around them.
The Unity Sand Ceremony
The Unity Sand Ceremony is a novel alternative for the popular "unity candle ceremony" incorporated into many of today's weddings. The essence is to symbolize the union of "two into one". This sand version is not only beautiful and interesting but also more appropriate for an outdoor setting. You can obtain beautiful vases and the sand at www.kensingtonclassics.com
The Unity Blending of Family Sand Ceremony
The mixing of the various sand colors is a fitting way to symbolize the new Blended Family that will result from this union.   Together, we can create beautiful words that will make this a special part of your wedding ceremony
Theme Weddings
We can transform your wedding day as we let our imaginations soar in creating a theme wedding:  a Hawaiian, Surf & Sand, Western, Las Vegas, Renaissance, Cinderella, Fiesta, 50's/60's, Irish/Scottish/Celtic or Nautical theme.
